Notes
  • At least one author of each accepted paper must register using the full author registration rate to ensure that the paper will be included in the COCOON 2018 proceedings.
  • Payment of full author registration fee covers the cost to attend the COCOON 2018, banquet, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners during the symposium, a hard copy of the proceedings.
  • Payment of attendee registration fee covers the cost to attend the COCOON 2018, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners during the symposium.
  • Receipt/invoice of the registration fee and the symposium proceedings will be available at the symposium venue. We will not send you receipt/invoice/symposium proceedings through postal service after the symposium.

VISA Information & Invitation Letter

  • For entry into China, non-Chinese citizens should apply for a visa at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in the region they live. The simplest way is to apply for a tourist ("L") visa, which should give you enough time to attend the conference and participate in pre/post conference activities. Please contact the Embassy or Consulate in your region for specific instructions. An invitation letter is not required for obtaining a tourist visa. The regular processing time is 4 working days. Please plan ahead to allow enough time for visa processing.

  • If you have any problem on obtaining a tourist visa, please send an e-mail to cocoon2018@sdu.edu.cn to obtain an invitation letter to apply for a business visa. In the e-mail, please offer the following accepted paper information: Paper ID, Authors, and Title of the paper.
